I’m a simple man and I like simple wings. Wings that are from actual adult chicken, not some juvenile teenage chicken. Wings that are cooked, not fried (or even air fried, trust me I’ve seen one) so it’s not greasy or dry as jerky. Wings that are fresh and prepared with simple ingredients like with buffalo sauce. Wings that don’t cost 18 dollars for 6 pieces. I thought these were easy, and yet for 7 years I’ve been in Boston, I just couldn’t find another place. I’ve been visiting here since 2022 when I moved to Cambridge, and am still coming once a few weeks. It’s almost how I celebrate my Friday, and I genuinely look forward to a big box of simple wings. P.s for a fast food like place, it surprises me almost every time I visit how nice and friendly their staff are (New England kind of nice, not over the top California kinda nice). Young folks are grumpy these days, but never have I seen one here. P.p.s their hot garlic flavor is buffalo chicken, my absolute favorite.

i don’t know the name but the cashier was a great enthusiastic employee. most places the guy is just not wanting to be there just tryna get through your order but he was really nice suggested the best option for us to get and he even went tryna find the name on the coke for my mom . the food was also delicious id return if im ever in the area again.
First time ordering and had such a lovely experience. James D was very informative and knowledgeable on the sauce flavors and helped better my experience.
Both the woman at the counter and I want to say the gentleman who gave me my food must have been the person who cooks the wings. They both were phenomenal. She greeted me, took my order. I asked her if the lemon pepper hot wings were hot, and she said no, and she was right. They're not. They were super tasty. Like they had that red hot hot sauce on them with lemon pepper seasoning. She said it was a popular flavor of wings. I'm glad I took her suggestion. Next time, i'm gonna ask her another flavor that's good, so I can get lemon pepper again, plus whatever she suggests. I got half lemon pepper and half hot lemon pepper, and they have the very best ranch dressing. It is so good. I wanted to drink it. What I loved was when the gentleman gave me my food, he said, "Now y'all come back now, you hear?!?! That just touched my heart and made me smile even harder. The people that work here, uh, really nice. I even know I heard the lady speak to the other people who work making orders. She was really nice to them as well. The front of the place looked really clean. I was there on Thursday, May 15th, at about 2:45 PM. The reason why I am leaving the date in time is because I would love for these people who we're working there to get some recognition of being a great team.
People need to learn how to manage expectations. This is a wings place that is open until late, It has really tasty food. On a really good price. If you want a five star restaurant then you are on the wrong please.If you are craving nice wings or chicken tenders late at night after a beer PERFECT PLACE. CHICKEN TENDERS WE'RE NICE AND FRESH and the hot sauce was actually hot !

Me and my girl went on May 24, 2025, at around 9pm. The guy behind the counter was extremly helpful with explaining the menu and what was popular and not. We took our order to do, food was great. We cant wait to go back. Chicken Shop vibes were spot on.
